Dr Abu-Ghazaleh visits the Royal Jordanian Medical Services and praises the competence of their staff


HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), visited the Royal Jordanian Medical Services (JRMS), where he was received by JRMS Director General, Brig. General Dr. Youssef Zureiqat.

During the visit, the two parties discussed means of cooperation between medical services and TAG.Global, with the aim of exchanging expertise in all possible fields between the two parties. Dr. Abu Ghazaleh promised to offer unlimited support to JRMS.

They also looked at a multitude of medical services of different specialties provided at King Hussein Medical Center (KHMC), as well as the Jordan DNA Banking Project and the potential for its applicability by Royal Medical Services.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh praised the good reputation of the Royal Medical Services and the level of services in different fields provided to patients and the efficiency of their medical, nursing and administrative cadres.

He also highlighted the importance of the role of JRMS in providing health centers with qualified and trained specialists in all medical fields.

For his part, the Director General of JRMS, Dr.. Zreiqat, said that the branches of the Royal Medical Services, through their affiliated hospitals, comprehensive medical centers and specialist military hospitals, scattered throughout the Kingdom in a professional and competent manner, offer their services to patients wherever they are found.

During a tour of the various facilities of the King Hussein Medical Center, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the services and achievements of the Cardiovascular Clinic and the Queen Rania Children’s Hospital.

In the meantime, the two parties have agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the establishment of a simulation and training room, linking the RMS to the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education ( AROQA), chaired by Dr Abu-Ghazaleh, and the European Research Network, as well as other research and education networks around the world. They also agreed to cooperate in the organization of workshops, training courses and specialized conferences to highlight the importance of the DNA project (genetic map bank), to cooperate on other topics related to the DNA bank ADN and to exchange their expertise.
