Olmsted Medical Center to Offer $25 in Sports Physics to Students Aug. 6 – Post Bulletin

ROCHESTER – High school athletes will be able to have their sports physical exams on Saturday August 6, 2022 at Olmsted Medical Center before the start of the school year.

Physical exams are generally required before a student can participate in a school-sponsored sport or extracurricular activity and must be performed every three years.

The appointments offered at the OMC are intended for participants in Minnesota State High School League-sanctioned activities, which encompass a variety of athletic and artistic activities from county to debate to theater.

Medical exams will cost $25 and those interested should call 507-535-1977 to schedule an appointment at the OMC Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance Center from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 6.

Students must come with the parent and patient sections of the MSHSL Athletic Qualifying Physical Examination Form completed and signed prior to their appointments. Students must also bring their vaccination record, glasses or contacts if they wear them, and a parent or legal guardian, who must be present during the exam.
