Parish Medical Center Activates Emergency Response Protocols Ahead of Hurricane Nicole – WFTV


TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Officials at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville said the hospital will be enacting emergency response protocols Wednesday night due to the potential effects of Tropical Storm Nicole.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the hospital will initiate a partial lockdown of the facility.

Under the partial lockdown, public access to the hospital will be limited to people in need of emergency medical care.

Hospital officials said visitors would not be able to enter the building, but patients would be allowed to stay with them until the storm passed.

Additionally, elective procedures have been canceled for Thursday, November 10, but will resume normal operations on Friday, November 11.
